Job summary

Enterprise Solutions and Management is seeking a Software System Engineer to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment in Arlington, VA. You will develop and maintain complex software, perform requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation, and collaborate with government customers and team members.

Security clearance (Top Secret) and five years of experience are required; DLA experience preferred.

Qualifications

Experience with software development life cycle and documentation.
Develop, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot complex software applications using tools and releases.
Maintain operating systems and manage large file systems and networks.
Evaluate new and existing software for functionality, reliability, and compatibility.
Support all phases of software programming and performance.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains complex software applications by defining requirements, designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs.
Uses manufacturer-provided engineering releases and utilities to modify and maintain existing applications.
Performs operating system maintenance and supports complex systems, including file management routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting systems, and advanced mathematical and scientific software.
Assists with all phases of software systems programming and evaluates new and existing software products.
