Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to build and support a mission-critical trade execution platform that directly influences front office outcomes in Jersey City.

You will collaborate with Front Office and Middle Office users and help shape the tech roadmap across Python/Java, Kafka, AWS and Databricks. You will apply deep engineering expertise across the software development lifecycle, drive security and reliability improvements, and lead communities of practice

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and related frameworks.
• Experience with AWS and Databricks stack and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Develops and supports a mission-critical trade execution platform.
• Writes secure, production-grade code and reviews others' code.
• Ensures day-to-day operations and stability of the platform.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture.
• Champions AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
