What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead all software aspects within the team, including research, design, development, testing, and support
- Design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs regarding functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Provide development leadership on client-facing payments platforms
- Drive best practices and guidelines implementation while adhering to standards
- Perform impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture and technology solutions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in software application development and maintenance, or High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in design and development of distributed systems
- Experience with Node, React, Java/J2EE, and Restful Web services
- Must have working knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Docker, and OpenShift
- Experience with payment technology and knowledge of the banking/payments industry

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Technical leadership experience for medium to large-sized enterprise projects
- Experience building Spring Boot Microservices
- Familiarity with public API development and API Gateway like APIGEE
- Ability to moderate, analyze, and troubleshoot production issues on both on-prem and vendor solutions
- Knowledge of ISO 20022, file formats such as NACHA, PAIN, BAI2, CAMT, and real-time payments
