This is a Direct Hire FTE role with our customer, who will allow this role to sit in the Cincinnati, OH metro, Phoenix, AZ metro, or Portland, OR metro area and is remote.

Must have lead/principal/staff experience and have experience both working full stack .net with ReactJS and also have experience building React Native mobile applications.

We're seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to lead the development of modern, customer-facing web and mobile applications. This role is ideal for a Lead full-stack .NET developer who excels in building highly scalable applications with strong UI expertise in ReactJS and a proven background in React Native for mobile app development.

As a technical leader, you will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices while remaining an active contributor to the codebase. You will work on both the core mobile and web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality software in a customer-facing/B2C environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and drive architectural decisions for web and mobile applications.
• Be hands-on in coding, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Develop scalable, high-quality software solutions using .NET (C#), ReactJS, and React Native.
• Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical expertise through code reviews and best practice enforcement.
• Build and maintain customer-facing applications with a focus on usability, performance, and accessibility.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, UX, and backend teams to define and implement solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work in an Agile environment, accurately estimating tasks, tracking progress, and proactively solving issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in software development and bring innovative solutions to the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer developing web and mobile applications.
• 1+ years in a lead/staff/principal role
• Expert-level proficiency in .NET (C#) and ReactJS.
• Strong experience in React Native for mobile app development (iOS & Android).
• Proven ability to design and build customer-facing or B2C applications.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and software architecture patterns.
• Expertise in RESTful API design and development.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management (SQL Server, Firebase, Redis).
• Experience working with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate uncertainty and manage risks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
