The Cadence Digital and Signoff Group Machine learning team is a high‑energy team that explores and implements Deep Machine Learning techniques and Agentic frameworks for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools. We are looking for exceptional individuals skilled in Agentic frameworks, machine learning and deep‑learning algorithms, and application development. We desire a team player with excellent communication skills who is comfortable discussing Deep Learning research as well as developing APIs for innovative software.

Responsibilities

Design Agentic workflows and gradient‑based or gradient‑free optimization algorithms. Research and develop machine‑learning approaches to problems in the EDA and systems design space, and design, implement, verify, and maintain software to address those markets.

Qualifications

A strong software‑engineering background is mandatory, with emphasis on C/C++, Python, Linux‑based development, and ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch, along with knowledge of large‑language models or Agentic AI. Candidates should be a collaborative team player and possess excellent communication skills.

Compensation

The annual salary range for California is $114,800 to $213,200. Incentive compensation may include bonus, equity, and benefits.
