Job summary

Maximus Federal is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the design and development of Microsoft .NET and Azure applications. You will work with teammates to translate business requirements into robust software solutions and mentor junior developers.

You will troubleshoot challenging issues, explore new tools to improve coding standards, and ensure HIPAA compliance while working remotely during core hours.

Description & RequirementsMaximusis currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Microsoft .Net/Azure).This is a remote position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of complex software applications from business requirements in collaboration with other team members- Investigate new solutions, tools, products, and techniques to incorporate into coding standards.- Troubleshoot complex issues and produce detailed proposals to resolve.- Support testing and remediate defects- Guide, coach, and mentor entry and mid-level developersMinimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree in related field.- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:- At least seven (7) years of experience working with Microsoft C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Telerik Kendo UI, and SQL Server/ Azure SQL required.
