Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to deliver secure, scalable systems.
• Hands-on coding in Python and Java.
• Experience with cloud and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, security, and resiliency practices.
• Knowledge of data modeling and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership in engineering communities.

As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience


• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability


• Proficient in Python with hands-on coding experience.


• Advanced in Java and Java frameworks like Spring boot, Hibernate, JPA, spring Kafka


• Proficient in Microservices and/or Kafka or other messaging architecture


• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods


• Practical cloud native experience-AWS cloud with hands-on various AWS services


• Knowledge on data modelling, common RDBMS such as Postgres


• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security



• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies: UI, React.js, Angular


• Exposure to cloud technologies: Kubernetes


• Experience with AI/ML
