What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with the business and architects to design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs regarding functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Lead multiple tech leads overseeing SCRUM teams, providing coaching and an escalation path for troubleshooting
- Drive domain-wide change initiatives to improve quality, speed, and throughput of the software development process
- Oversee proactive maintenance of existing IaaS/SaaS and on-premise applications to ensure stability and scalability
- Coordinate and assist with troubleshooting of code defects, data errors, and configuration problems

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
- Proven experience designing and leading implementation of medium to large-sized systems
- Strong communication skills to express complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting business-critical applications
- Ability to drive departmental best practices and adhere to standards

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Intermediate to strong experience designing or modifying modern microservice-based systems
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Java 11+, Spring and Spring Boot frameworks, and REST APIs
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies
- Experience in automation testing framework development and React UI development
- Advanced interpersonal skills including communication and negotiation
