JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for the Home Lending Technology team to design, develop, and deploy robust software solutions across multiple domains. You will drive architecture discussions, deliver scalable code, and mentor teams to uphold secure, reliable systems.

The role emphasizes large data processing, cloud technologies (AWS), and modern development practices within a regulated, enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience in system design, development, testing and operational stability.
• Proficient in Java/Spring Boot or Python 3.
• Proficient in PySpark.
• Proficient in AWS technologies.
• Experience in large corporate environments and with modern programming languages and DB querying.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Strong knowledge of Agile: CI/CD, resilience and security.
• Awareness of cloud, AI/ML, mobile or related tech domains.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to build solutions or break down problems beyond routine approaches.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run with appropriate systems.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex apps and ensures design constraints are met by code development.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement of software applications.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and explores new technologies.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
