Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience in production environments.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and resiliency and security expectations.
• Experience with Large Language Models and generative AI use cases (RAG, agents, prompt/tool orchestration).
• Experience with distributed systems and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and data technologies (relational and/or NoSQL).
• Practical experience building cloud-native systems (event-driven architectures, streaming, service mesh).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop creative full-stack software solutions.
• Build and implement AI-driven capabilities, including LLM-based services and integrations into business workflows.
• Advise on enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• Leverage AI coding assist tools to improve quality and productivity with peer review and automated testing.
• Architect and deliver cloud-native microservices and APIs (REST/streaming) with strong security controls.
• Identify and automate solutions for recurring operational issues to improve stability and observability.
• Communicate project status and manage priorities across multiple initiatives.
• Collaborate within a Scrum team and support a diverse, inclusive culture.
