Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Lakewood, CO to guide development, maintenance and enhancement of ERP Pro Tyler product suite. You will design, code, and own major features, work with cross-functional teams, and mentor a mix of junior to senior engineers.

You will lead complex technical projects, drive API and database design, ensure security and performance, and foster a culture of code quality and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience with expert-level programming and leadership experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development with progression into technical leadership.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET 10+, strong fundamentals in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance and enhancement of business applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow the team.
• Build and maintain ERP Pro Tyler product suite infrastructure and applications.
• Develop full-stack web apps using .NET, front-end and back-end components.
• Design and implement APIs, databases and integration with third-party services.
• Own large system design decisions and drive performance and security improvements.
• Collaborate with partners, product managers, and QA for high-quality software.
