Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a Lead Software Engineer – Emerging Technologies to drive hands-on architecture and rapid prototyping across Chicago, Peoria, Irving, or Broomfield offices in a hybrid model.

You will mentor engineers, partner with product, data science, security, and infra teams, evaluate AI/ML, RAG and cloud-native patterns, and turn exploratory concepts into production-ready capabilities within a Fortune 100 environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development of complex applications, distributed systems, APIs, platforms, or cloud-native services.
• Proven leadership of technical work across the full SDLC.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (Python/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript/C#/Go).
• Ability to convert business requirements into secure, scalable software designs using CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience designing and maintaining software integrations across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, testing of modern software solutions, prototypes, pilots, and reusable platforms.
• Evaluate, prototype, and apply emerging technologies such as generative AI, RAG, cloud-native services, APIs, automation.
• Translate business goals into scalable designs, technical roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Mentor engineers, provide technical direction, and promote engineering excellence.
