Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - DevSecOps (Finance) to drive architecture, modernization, and security of mission-critical software across cloud, embedded, and avionics platforms. You will lead a software team, implement DevSecOps and SSDLC, and ensure DO-178C and related aerospace standards are met through automation, testing, and secure coding practices.

As a Lead Software Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in leading the architecture, development, modernization, and security of mission-critical software solutions for aerospace and industrial applications. You will lead a team of software engineers responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality software across cloud, enterprise, embedded, and avionics platforms.
In this role, you will drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices, modern software engineering methodologies, and automation strategies while ensuring compliance with aerospace certification requirements and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering, systems, quality, cybersecurity, and product teams to deliver solutions that meet customer, regulatory, and business objectives.
You will report directly to the Sr. Engineering Manager and work closely with global engineering teams to establish technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure successful execution of software development programs.
Your leadership will help accelerate digital transformation initiatives, improve development efficiency, enhance software quality, and strengthen cybersecurity across the organization.
