PreVeil Inc. seeks a hands-on Lead Software Engineer, Client Systems, to build and evolve software that runs on customer endpoints and securely coordinates with PreVeil’s cloud services.

The role spans local state, file-system integration, networking, synchronization, identity, reliability, and secure protocols across Windows and macOS, with supporting web and cloud services. Strong candidates may come from desktop apps, endpoint security, embedded or device-to-cloud systems, file

Formación

• BS or MS in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, concurrency, networking, and systems design.
• Experience building client-side software in distributed environments.
• Experience shipping production software to external customers and handling reliability scenarios.
• Experience designing distributed, multi-device synchronization and event delivery.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor engineers while hands-on.
• Proficiency in at least one production language; no specific language required.

Responsabilidades

• Own architecture and implementation of software running on customer endpoints and its communication with PreVeil’s cloud services.
• Design reliable synchronization and state-management across clients, devices, and backend infrastructure.
• Build software that interacts with local storage, file systems, networking, authentication, access controls, and OS services.
• Design and evolve secure protocols across client and cloud components.
• Ensure security and reliability of applications through secure coding techniques and system design.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, scalability, connectivity, and reliability issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and hands-on leadership.
