Job summary

CompalUSA, Goleta, CA, is seeking a Software Engineering Lead for the Automotive Electronics Products (AEP) team. The role combines hands-on software development, integration and test, plus leadership of a cross-functional team in a hybrid work setting.

You will oversee design, prototyping and validation of infrared camera software and test software, coordinating resources and mentoring engineers to deliver high-quality solutions for product development and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Robotics, or other relevant discipline.
• Expert in C, C++ coding with effective software configuration management.
• Lead development of quality software and validation processes.
• Experience with camera software and related test software.
• Knowledge of camera interfaces and cybersecurity methodologies.
• Agile software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, prototyping and validating infrared camera software and test software applications.
• Coordinate internal and external developmental resources.
• Mentor engineers and interns.
