Job summary

Digital Room in Arlington, TX is seeking a Lead - Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software systems. You will mentor peers, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate with product and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 5+ years in modern full-stack development, with strong knowledge of core algorithms, databases, testing, and ASP.NET Core/.NET MAUI. Hybrid work is allowed; on-site presence is required periodically.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or related field.
• Five years of experience as software engineer/developer in a modern full-stack application.
• Four years of experience with core algorithms and system programming fundamentals.
• Three years of experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Two years of experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing (NUnit/Xunit, Selenium).
• One year of experience with mobile front ends (NET MAUI), web front ends (ASP.NET Core).
• Must live within commuting distance to Arlington, TX; hybrid allowed, on-site required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable software systems.
• Contribute technical expertise across the full SDLC and mentor peers.
• Bridge individual contribution and leadership to ensure quality and alignment.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC from requirements to maintenance.
• Deliver high-quality, well-tested code per the Definition of Done.
• Engage in code reviews and support peers in improving skills.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for new technologies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and tooling.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding activities.
