Job summary

Twin Health is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to shape the technical direction of our AI-powered platform that enhances clinical operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Python and/or Java, with 6+ years of software engineering experience. Responsibilities include designing backend services, leading architectural decisions, and collaborating with engineering teams to optimize workflows. This remote position offers a competitive salary between $220,000 and $240,000 and comprehensive benefits including unlimited vacation and employer-sponsored healthcare.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, either backend or full-stack.
• Hands-on experience building microservices using FastAPI and/or Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Lead technical architecture decisions in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.
