Job summary

Coupa Software, Inc. in the United States is seeking an experienced software engineer to write, review, and ship production code, shaping features across the full stack with a focus on TypeScript and Ruby components.

What You’ll Do:

• Write, review, and ship production code — this is a hands‑on role and will stay that way as the team grow

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

• 10+ years building and shipping enterprise software at scale
• Deep full‑stack experience with strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar framework is required
• Experience with monolithic as well as micro services and micro‑frontend architectures
• Solid grounding in agile practices, CI/CD, and DevOps culture
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools, including Claude Code
• A track record of raising the bar through code reviews, mentorship, and leading by example
• Strong communication skills across distributed, cross‑cultural teams
• Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine bias toward action
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
