Job summary

Virtusa in Ohio is seeking a seasoned Mainframe expert to lead modernization and legacy migration efforts. You'll apply knowledge of CICS, VSAM, COBOL, JCL, DB2, MQ and related tools to triage production issues and architect migration strategies.

Strong collaboration, Agile experience, and ability to define team composition and ensure delivery across projects are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the Mainframe.
• Knowledge of Mainframe Modernization and Legacy Migration requirements.
• Experience with CICS, VSAM, COBOL, JCL, DB2, MQ, Changeman.
• Strong in triaging production issues using Mainframe tools.
• Understanding of Agile product lifecycle and collaboration across the organization.

10+ Years of experience in the Mainframe.
Understanding the requirements for the Mainframe Modernization and Legacy Migration.
Listed Mainframe technologies are Mandatory. CICS, VSAM,COBOL, JCL, DB2, MQ, Zeke,
Changeman, etc.
Understanding in building the team composition for Migration Projects Strong in triaging
production issues using all the basic tools in Mainframe.
Knowing Java/distributed solutions will be super plus Strong verbal and written
communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
Understanding and experience of Product Development Life Cycle, Business Requirement
Specification documentation and experience of working in an Agile environment.
