Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior engineer to lead a large-scale enterprise migration. You will coordinate across teams, provide early-phase estimates and tool selection, and translate requirements into detailed design plans.

You will validate design decisions with stakeholders, guide high-risk features, and maintain comprehensive documentation aligned with standards. Strong leadership and SDLC expertise are essential.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead a large-scale enterprise migration project, driving planning, execution, and cross-team coordination
• Provide early-phase project expertise (resource/skill/time estimates, tool/technology selection, and proof of concept participation)
• Analyze high-level system specifications, business requirements, and use cases; identify system dependencies and impacts
• Translate requirements into detailed specifications and system design plans for the development team
• Validate complex design decisions with stakeholders; provide advanced coding guidance to mitigate high-risk features and technical challenges
• Create and maintain required documentation (design decisions, estimating assumptions, code modules, performance metrics) in alignment with organizational standards
• Define, conduct, and mentor others on development standards and best practices
• Lead development walkthroughs
• Partner with teams to evaluate system flows, data usage, and manual/automated processes to confirm requirements and solution effectiveness
