Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 8–10 years of experience to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications. You will build cloud-native solutions, ensure security and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and OpenShift to deploy microservices, implement CI/CD with DevOps, and drive continuous improvement in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives and ensure reliable application delivery across enterprise platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices following cloud-native architecture principles.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
