Job Duties:
Build a technology platform within our DrChrono EHR Group that enables medical practices of all sizes to make care more informed, more personalized, more interactive, and more adaptable.
Develop high-traffic, scalable, accessible, HIPAA-compliant systems using Relational Databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB and modern frontends using Javascript/Typescript framework in React, Angular, or View or similar.
Work alongside other developers, quality assurance testers, and product owners on one of our agile teams to deliver a highly stable, quality software product to our customers using Javascript/Typescript.
Act as a technical leader and provide direction on technical/product decisions and Engineering best practices while mentoring others on the DrChrono team.
Determine, codify, roll out, and advocate technical standards across multiple teams by developing code with strong WCAG/addressability adherence.
Develop high-quality Javascript/Typescript code that has been sufficiently unit-tested.
Build, maintain and roll out highly reusable and composable Javascript/Typescript component library with strong responsive/accessibility adherence.
Design and implement new application features and improvements to existing features based on defined project requirements in Javascript/Typescript.
Act as a subject matter expert on multiple high-priority projects, providing technical guidance to delivery teams and working with the architecture services team to define and maintain technical design documentation.
Design, contribute and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple existing and greenfield projects using modern CI tooling- Docker, Git and modern CI tooling including CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
Develop and maintain code style guides and code review reference material.
Identify and drive improvement opportunities related to our processes, tools, methodologies, and overall quality of our product.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by the Test and Customer Support teams.
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience required: 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, or closely related occupation.
