E&M Technologies, Inc. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to guide software teams delivering mission-critical applications for NORAD. You will drive full-stack development, containerization, and secure practices across the SDLC in a DoD-aligned environment.

The role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, and collaboration with product owners and cross-functional teams. U.S. citizenship and DoD clearance are required.

Formación

  • Experience with ITW/AA or the NISSC II contract within the past year.
  • Must have AT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
  • 12+ years of general work experience.
  • 10+ years of directly related experience as a Software Developer.
  • Experience leading software development teams.
  • Experience mentoring junior software developers.
  • Experience developing technical solutions to meet defined requirements.
  • Detailed understanding of containers, and experience containerizing applications.
  • Experience working within an Agile development team and completing tasks on-time.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance at the required level.

E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO in support of the North American Aerospace Defense Command. NORAD is a United States and Canada bi-national organization charged with the missions of aerospace warning, aerospace control and maritime warning for North America. Aerospace warning includes the detection, validation, and warning of attack against North America whether by aircraft, missiles, or space vehicles, through mutual support arrangements with other commands.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with ITW/AA or the NISSC II contract within the past year
  • Must have AT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
  • 12 years or more of general work experience

  • Experience leading software development teams
  • Experience mentoring junior software developers
  • Experience developing technical solutions to meet defined requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience migrating monolithic applications to a microservices architecture
  • Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environments.
  • Experience working within a VMware Tanzu environment.
  • Experience working with DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) tools
  • Experience working with CCIC2S applications
  • Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environment.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. E&M considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
