Job summary

E&M Technologies, Inc. seeks a Software Integration Engineer to join our Chantilly, VA team supporting NGA. This on-site role focuses on system integration, authentication, SSO, SAML, and cloud infrastructure within a DoD-cleared environment.

You will troubleshoot software issues, document processes, and work with DevOps tools while maintaining U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
• SEC+ certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II, or ability to attain certification within 60 days of start.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in system integration or software development and integrating services from different systems.
• Experience debugging software issues and identifying root causes.
• Ability to document processes and procedures.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to maintain a DoD security clearance at the required level and pass a counterintelligence polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate secure authentication, access management, and Identity as a Service (IDaaS) technologies.
• Implement methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting an organization’s enterprise IT architecture.
• Navigate Linux operating systems using command line interface.

Minimum Qualifications

• SEC+ certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, or ability to attain certification within 60 days of start
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extensive experience working with external
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• System integration or software development, and experience integrating services from different systems
• Debugging software issues, investigating root causes, and recommending fixes
• Performing software testing or validation
• Perform software testing or validation procedures, improving the procedures as needed
• Demonstrated ability to document processes/ procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues, investigate root causes, and recommend fixes
• All candidates must be US CITIZENS to be considered for the position.
• Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level and ability to pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
• Knowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management (IdAM) suite, including OAM, OUD
• Knowledge of authentication standards using OAuth2, SAML, or PKI
• Experience containerizing existing custom software
• Knowledge of common DevOps tools such as: Ansible and Gitlab

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
