We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our athenaCollector team.

In athenaCollector, we build technology solutions that automate Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). This Collector team implements the underlying medical back-office processes to automate and integrate the claims cycle requirements.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in building teams, attracting talent, developing career paths, and fostering a culture of innovation in high-performing teams.

The Team: The athenaCollector product is a vital part of the athenaOne platform, which helps medical providers manage their business and revenue cycle, automating claims and billing for over $200 billion in client revenue.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead, design, and develop code on agile teams including Engineers, Scrum Master, Product Owners, and Experience Designers.
2. Collaborate with, mentor, and advise team members to promote productivity and share insights with the broader organization.
3. Work with data domains, ETL processes, and UDS, managing large datasets and optimizing data workflows.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with product development expertise.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, relational databases, and experience with modern UI frameworks preferred.
• Strong background in data domains, ETL, and UDS, capable of working with large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, ReactJS, TypeScript, JSX is a plus.
• Ability to lead teams and technical projects, including design, scoping, and estimation.
• Experience with Agile and CI/CD practices preferred.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL, RESTful API, Spring Boot, and related technologies is helpful.
