Broadridge is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead multiple development efforts and mentor a team of software engineers. The role emphasizes test automation, data mapping validation, and strong engineering practices across distributed teams.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of software leadership experience, hands-on SDET background, and the ability to drive quality, scalability, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in software development or related engineering roles with progressive responsibility in leadership.
• Hands-on experience in SDET / test automation and test framework development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software developers, fostering engineering excellence.
• Drive design, development, and delivery of software with emphasis on quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in test automation frameworks and engineering quality practices.
• Leverage data mapping ETL testing to guide teams in reliable, testable applications.
• Establish SDET-inspired engineering practices across the team, including automation strategy and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers and stakeholders to define solutions and roadmaps.
• Review designs, code quality, and release readiness to ensure successful execution.
• Work with onshore and offshore teams and support hiring and career development.
