Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
• 9+ years of progressive software development experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Determine and clarify user requirements and specifications within tasks and projects.
• Plan software development activities by breaking down plans into tasks and work packages.
• Lead and participate in design, coding, testing and documentation to meet schedules.
• Support deployment of applications across the enterprise and coordinate resources.
• Perform and oversee code maintenance, debugging, and updates.
• Provide input to future plans based on new developments in computer tech.
• Communicate status, issues and risks with users, developers, and management.
• Provide daily direction and mentoring to assigned staff and resolve issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
