Job summary

You will collaborate with systems engineering, hardware, cybersecurity, program leadership, and customers to deliver high-performance software that meets mission requirements and supports field deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years in software engineering for defense/aerospace or mission-critical systems.
• Minimum 3 years of technical leadership directing software teams.
• Experience with architecture design, testing, and integration of complex software.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering teams across HEL system software development.
• Define architectures and approaches for control interfaces and diagnostics.
• Establish development processes, coding standards, and baselines.
• Oversee requirements analysis, design, testing, and deployment activities.
• Coordinate with systems, hardware, cybersecurity, and customers.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence.
