Haemonetics Corp is seeking a Principal Software Developer to lead BloodTrack Tx's technical strategy across embedded, mobile, and cloud backend. You will set the engineering vision, drive architecture across multiple surfaces, and ensure reliability in patient-critical workflows.

As a principal-level contributor, you will apply deep expertise in C++, iOS, Android, .NET, and TypeScript/JavaScript to unify the product surface with scalable architectures while mentoring engineers and collaborating

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in a Principal/Architect role.
• Expert-level C/C++ with exposure to C#/Java/Python.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS and Next.js.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, microservices and distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, event-driven and service-oriented architectures.
• Security/compliance experience including OWASP, OIDC, SAML2, SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA.
• Proven track record shipping complex products with maintainable architectures.
• Strategic communicator capable of explaining technical concepts to leaders.
• Pragmatic problem solver focusing on long-term architectural health.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural strategy and long-term technical roadmap.
• Govern technical decisions, set quality gates and budgets.
• Lead hands-on innovation and high-level code reviews.
• Mentor engineers across platform disciplines.
• Identify and mitigate technical debt and risks.
• Align architecture with regulatory and commercial objectives.
