Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Lead Software Architect for the Compute Platform with a focus on SOC communication protocols. The role defines the platform architecture for the Communication domain, guiding components, data flows, and interconnects across ECUs, gateways, and central compute units.

The candidate will shape the strategic roadmap, ensure robustness and scalability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with hardware capabilities and vehicle requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering/compSci field.
• 8+ years in embedded software design/development, preferably in automotive.
• Knowledge of software architecture principles and practices.
• Experience with UML/SysML and modeling tools.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and TCP/IP.
• Experience with AUTOSAR platforms and ECUs.
• Ability to write and review software requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define overall platform architecture for the Communication domain across ECUs, gateways, and central compute units.
• Drive strategic vision and architectural roadmap for in-vehicle networking.
• Provide technical guidance and lead architectural decisions aligning with standards.
