You will manage access credentials, respond to alarms, and maintain records while utilizing Microsoft Office for reporting and daily operations.

Job description

Securitas Security Services is seeking an experienced Lead Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to support security operations in a high-end corporate environment. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in access control, badging, CCTV, and security technology who can confidently manage multiple systems while providing a high level of customer service and professionalism.

The Lead SOC Operator will play an important role in monitoring and supporting the overall security of the facility. This includes managing access control and badging systems, monitoring CCTV, responding to alarms and security events, maintaining accurate records, and using data to support day-to-day security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate security systems, including access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, and badging systems
• Manage and maintain employee and visitor access credentials and badging activities
• Monitor security cameras and respond appropriately to suspicious activity or security events
• Respond to alarms and security system notifications in accordance with established procedures
• Monitor and manage access control throughout the facility
• Maintain accurate security records, logs, reports, and documentation
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications for reporting, tracking, data management, and daily operations
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and other operational documentation
• Review security information and identify trends, discrepancies, or areas requiring attention
• Communicate effectively with security personnel, client representatives, employees, and other stakeholders
• Support the implementation and enforcement of site-specific security procedures
• Assist with security investigations and incident documentation as needed
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive security and employee information
• Provide guidance and support to Security Officers and SOC personnel as needed
• Escalate security concerns, system issues, and incidents appropriately
• Perform other duties related to security operations as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience with access control systems
• Previous badging experience
• Previous CCTV experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Risk management experience preferred
• Experience with C-CURE or similar access control platforms preferred
• Experience with Everbridge or similar emergency notification/incident management platforms preferred
• Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements prior to starting
