Job summary

BlueVoyant seeks a Manager, Security Operations Center (SOC) to lead a growing SOC of roughly 60 employees, playing a critical role in protecting client relationships. This is a client-facing leadership position shaping how customers experience the SOC—from escalation handling to reporting and metrics.

The hybrid College Park, MD role requires US citizenship and offers growth into senior leadership as the team scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience leading managers or team leads with responsibility for performance.
• Ability to operate in a 24/7/365 environment.
• Strong communication with customers to understand requirements and feedback on security services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Team Leads, Trainers, and Security Analysts with strategic direction.
• Own customer escalations and partner with Client Success on remediation plans.
• Develop SOC performance metrics and deliver regular reporting to leadership.
• Oversee incident investigations, containment, and coordination across teams.
• Drive service improvements and align security actions with customer needs.
