Job summary

CyberGuard Advantage is seeking a Senior Consultant to drive SOC 1/2/3 and other AICPA attestations from planning through reporting. You will lead engagements with limited direction and support multi-framework assessments for clients across industries in a fully remote U.S./Canada setting.

You will manage client relationships, review senior and junior work, and coach staff to grow expertise while maintaining strong documentation and adherence to firm methodology.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of IT audit, assurance, risk, or compliance experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NIST CSF, HIPAA and HITRUST.
• Experience leading complex SOC or other AICPA attestation engagements and drafting reports.
• Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgment, and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Develop engagement scope and testing plans, evaluate controls and assess exceptions.
• Assess client environments against AICPA criteria, NIST CSF, ISO 27000, HITRUST, PCI DSS, HIPAA.
• Review workpapers for accuracy, sufficient evidence, and conclusions.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships, lead status meetings and update stakeholders.
• Coordinate team assignments, monitor budgets and deadlines, provide status reports.
• Prepare draft SOC and attestation reports and finalize after reviews.
• Escalate significant issues, scope changes, and resource needs with recommendations.
• Coach Associates to lead engagements and transfer learning.
• Maintain technical knowledge and improve firm methodology and templates.
