Job summary

Vail Resorts in Pennsylvania is seeking a Snowmaker for the 2026/2027 winter season. Start wages range from $23.00 to $30.61 per hour, with full-time hours available and housing options. You will operate snowmaking equipment, mentor teammates, and help produce mountain snow in alpine conditions.

Responsibilities include overseeing snow production quality, performing equipment maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient operations across shifts in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery preferred (snowmaking background a plus).
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Able to work outdoors in alpine environments.
• Flexibility to work nights, holidays, weekends.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowmaking equipment and associated transport vehicles.
• Perform quality checks on snow production processes.
• Lead daily operations and mentor snowmaker teammates.
• Maintain snowmaking pumps, compressors, guns, and related facilities.
• Work cooperatively to ensure safety and efficiency during shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
