Job summary

EmployBridge is seeking an experienced SMT Process Engineering Lead to support the launch of a new automotive electronics manufacturing operation in Dublin, Georgia. This role drives equipment commissioning, process optimization, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced startup environment.

The ideal candidate will lead SMT line development, work with Pick & Place, Reflow Ovens, and AOI equipment, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to deliver production readiness

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
Strong manufacturing process engineering background.
Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience working with manufacturing equipment and automated processes.
Strong communication and project leadership skills.
Ability to perform effectively in a startup or launch environment.

Responsibilities

Support SMT equipment installation, startup, and commissioning.
Develop, optimize, and sustain SMT manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
Lead yield improvement and defect reduction initiatives.
Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
Partner with quality, production, and engineering teams to drive operational excellence.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Assist with training and development of production personnel.
