Job summary
Black & Veatch is seeking a Hexagon SmartPlant Instrumentation Lead Administrator to oversee administration, configuration, and operational support for IC/SC instrumentation. You will collaborate with I&C engineering, project teams, and IT to ensure reliable performance and data integrity across nuclear and complex facilities.
The role focuses on maintaining configuration standards, upgrading systems, and improving data practices, with integration to Smart P&ID, Smart 3D, and other enterprise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience administering Hexagon Smart Instrumentation in EPC, owner/operator, or regulated environments.
- Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle for queries and data validation.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Smart Instrumentation.
- Maintain SI standards, reference data and naming conventions.
- Manage security, access, roles and permissions for instrumentation data.
- Support project setup and lifecycle management with I&C teams.
- Produce Instrument indexes, datasheets and I/O lists.
- Customize reports and templates to meet client requirements.
- Provide advanced SI user support for global projects.
- Integrate SI with SmartPlant Foundation and related systems.
