Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Clinical or Tenure Track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center (LVMC) in Ames, Iowa.

The successful candidate will provide clinical service and teaching focused on veterinary emergency and critical care, with responsibilities including supervision of interns and residents, and participation in resident boards review and journal clubs.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree is required.
• ACVECC/ECVECC residency completion is required or in final year of residency.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical service and teaching at the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center.
• Supervise and instruct interns and residents; supervise primary cases.
• Participate in weekly resident boards review and journal clubs; contribute to teaching of clinical-year students.
• Contribute to research, scholarship, and didactic and laboratory teaching as time permits.

Formation

DVM or equivalent degree

ACVECC/ECVECC diplomate (preferred)
