Job summary

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment invites an on-site SkyCam Engineer in Charge to lead field deployments for live sports broadcasts. Under general supervision, you will ensure safe operation, coordinate with NOC & Technical Operations, and mentor crew on-site at events and with clients.

The role requires strong technical skills, tool proficiency, and the ability to manage complex situations in fast-paced environments, including travel and extended hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in media, broadcasting, technical, engineering, or production.
• Proficient in MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Acts as on-site manager for equipment and crew at an event and a point of contact for other crews/EICs in the field.
• Interfaces with client, venue operator or other crew leaders to ensure safe and proper installation.
• Provides guidance to and mentoring of SkyCam crew.
• Capable of field repairs and directing crew on setup and operation of equipment.
• Familiar with operation of tools and parts to assemble and rig the system.
• Coordinates deployment with NOC & Technical Operations Manager.
• Communicates all technical needs to NOC and TOM.
• Provides final report on live events and documents deployments.
• Manages site surveys and on-site responsibilities including crew and equipment.
