Job summary

Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania invites applications for Ski Ride School Leads. You will supervise daily ski and ride instruction, shaping curriculum, scheduling, and class assignments while supporting instructors.

We seek candidates with 1–3 years skiing/snowboard experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, PSIA/AASI certification, and ability to work nights, holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred; a related bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • PSIA/AASI certification or equivalent is required.
  • Experience supervising ski/snowboard instructors is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily instruction at Ski and Ride School including curriculum development, scheduling, and assigning classes with instructional support as needed.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as hiring, scheduling, training, payroll, inventory, and guest feedback reporting.
  • Monitor instructor performance and provide feedback, recognition, or corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies; uphold safety programs and incident reporting.

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
PSIA/AASI or equivalent certification

Job Specifications

Starting Wage:$23.00/hr – $53.50/hr

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily instruction at Ski and Ride School including curriculumdevelopment,scheduling, and assigning classes providing support with instruction as needed

  • Monitor and document instructor performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, including recognition, correction action, or escalation if necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Adhere to all safety related programs including policy training and incident reporting
  • Coordinate with other management, departments, and third-party organizations as needed
  • Participate in leadership forums providing feedback and input on school operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred,Bachelor’s Degreein related field preferred
  • Current PSIA/AASI or equivalent certification required
  • 1-3 years ski/snowboard experienceand 1 year of supervisory experience required
  • Abiity to work a flexible schedule including nights,holidays and weekends.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of ski and ride training and drills
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • The expected pay range is$23.00/hr – $53.50/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
