Job summary

Vail Resorts in Vermont is hiring Ski Patrol for Winter Seasonal 2026/27. You’ll safeguard guests and staff on varied terrain, stay calm in crises, and coordinate with the team to maintain safety and service standards.

Requirements include High School Diploma or equivalent, Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certification, and a valid U.S. Driver’s License. Advanced skiing ability required. Starting pay is $24.64–$35.20 per hour, with housing available and full-time, five-day weeks during the season.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent is required.
• Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) Technician Certification – minimum.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
• Fluent English speaking, writing and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and promote guest safety on varied terrain and in varying weather.
• Assist injured/ill guests on the mountain.
• Transport injured guests off the mountain using a toboggan or support air lift operations.
• Maintain trails and set up closures, safety materials, and other impacts from the resort environment.
• Lead and coordinate patroller teams in daily patrol operations.
