Job summary

Misskelley Builders is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for custom home projects in California. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate with owners, architects, and engineers, and ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget.

The role requires 5–7 years in high-end construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with ProCore, PlanGrid, BlueBeam, Sage, and MS Office. Valid driver’s license and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in custom homebuilding or high-dollar-value construction as site supervisor or site manager.
• Experience resolving design complexities with architects/designers to meet design intent.
• Computer literate with MS Office; working knowledge of ProCore, PlanGrid, BlueBeam, and Sage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site management and supervision of construction activities to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with owners/developers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors on progress and execution.
• Prepare project status reports and ensure work adheres to contract specifications.
• Supervise foremen and laborers and provide clear direction and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and project requirements; manage RFIs, submittals, and logs.
