Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Employer: Optum Services, Inc.

Job Title: Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Location: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs; Responsible for the reliability, security and efficiency of cloud environments and products that comprise Enterprise Imaging solutions; Work as a software tools developer in the cloud operations team; Define and drive automation of cloud operations and deployment using different toolset; Define and drive implementation of Cloud Operations procedures; Define and implement effective and reliable cloud infrastructure; Operate, scale, and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure for the cloud-based SaaS Enterprise Imaging platform and all components within; and 24x7x365 shift-based support with rotating on-call.

Requirements

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:

• Automation and administration of IT systems including compute resources, network, storage, and/or general access control;
• Administration of cloud infrastructure and deployed applications for enterprise SaaS or PaaS companies in public clouds such as GCP and/or AWS, Azure;
• Programming platforms such as python or node.js;
• Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash;
• Creating CI/CD process or managing Kubernetes environments or creating terraform IaC pipelines;
• Software tools and automation developer in the cloud operations team;
• Cloud infrastructure, including computer, networking, storage and other cloud services;
• Defining and driving large implementation of Cloud Operations procedures;
• Defining and implementing effective and reliable cloud infrastructure;
• Managing outages, customer escalations, crisis management, and other similar circumstances;
• Troubleshooting applications and infrastructure for the cloud-based SaaS enterprise Imaging platform and all components within; and
• DevOps tools and environments, such as Terraform, Git, Jenkins, Gitlab and/or Ansible.

Rate of Pay: $113,875 - $214,392 / per year
