Young Electric Sign Company is seeking an Installation Journeyman I to lead sign installation projects. This role requires at least 5 years of installation experience, advanced technical skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sign installation or closely related construction experience.
• Valid CDL Class A or B NCCCO Crane Certification required.
• Welding certification (3G-SMAW and 5F-FCAW preferred).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, engineering drawings, and project specifications before installation.
• Operate heavy equipment like cranes and lifts for sign installation.
• Perform welding tasks for assembling sign structures.
• Direct helpers and apprentices during installation work.
• Complete all required project documentation.
