Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear and valid Texas CDL (Class A) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• ASE Certified Automobile/Light Truck, Medium/Light Duty Truck, or School Bus Technician or TASBT Master Technician.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe, efficient maintenance for district vehicles and oversee shop operations.
• Assign work orders, track labor and materials for repairs, service, and preventive maintenance.
• Provide cost estimates and oversee vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Supervise shop personnel and assist fleet manager in evaluations.
• Prepare work schedules and provide on‑the‑job training for shop staff.
