Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a construction setting.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with experience training and developing technicians.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; adept at stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work on company equipment, including heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, and develop solutions to resolve them.
• Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to apprentice and junior mechanics, promoting safe practices.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; manage vendor relationships and reports.
• Develop and maintain equipment-related reports and metrics; identify process improvements.
