Job summary

Qualifications

  • 8+ years hands‑on experience supporting shipboard radio communications and digital patch panel equipment on multiple naval platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of TVS digital patching and ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot
  • Expertise in HF communication systems operation, analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience testing RF systems with spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, and DMMs
  • Ability to communicate with government civilians, technical staff and military personnel
  • Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS 30–40% and obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance
  • Must have U.S. citizenship and be able to obtain a passport
  • Eight plus years of hands‑on shipboard experience to include installation, operation, troubleshooting and repair

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead and SME on AN/USQ-155 TVS systems during shipboard installations, upgrades and sustainment
  • Test and troubleshoot HF systems and RF components
  • Perform on‑platform installation, troubleshooting and testing of naval communications systems
  • Deliver status updates and brief supervisors and ISEA personnel
  • Assist troubleshooting and repairing antennas and related components
  • Travel 30–40% annually to CONUS/OCONUS naval installations
  • Maintain safety and physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds
