Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead field installation of assigned projects, oversee field labor, coordinate manpower, ensure quality control, and uphold safety on site. You will represent the company on the project site and ensure installation meets contracted scope.

Responsibilities include plan-reading, layout, material take-offs, coordinating with general contractors, and maintaining look-ahead schedules while enforcing safety and building codes.

Qualifications

• Must have experience managing 5+ crews of 2–3 workers.
• Must have verifiable experience on projects of $500K+.
• Minimum of 3 years craft supervision experience in similar facility construction.
• Must manage to the budget, plan to the schedule, plan for the unexpected, meet or exceed project deadlines while keeping safety first.
• Influence workers to do it the company way and reflect the Company brand in installation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to the various project meetings.
• Plan-reading, coordination, layout, sketching and materials take-off.
• Material, tool and equipment handling; ordering, receiving, placing and returning.
• Contracts scope delineations; confirms that drawings and specs align with contract scope.
• Responds to general contractor's requests concerning our scope limits.
• Trades stacking and phasing and influences project scheduling.
• Manpower loading and maintaining the two week look-ahead schedule.
• Time keeping and other administrative duties such as daily reports, submittal log, RFI status etc.
• Ensures that safety and other company programs are implemented and effective.
• Building code compliance.
• Labor and material cost forecasting with project team.
• Quality control.
