Job Description Summary

  • Remote role based anywhere in the U.S. – Must reside near a major airport.
  • Travel is approximately 50% within the U.S. and Canada.

GE Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Encompass Support Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction of our Encompass product. The ideal candidate will possess technical skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to collaborate with various teams.

Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee quality assurance processes for Encompass support and implementation.
  • Customer Requests: Manage customer requests for map changes, labels, and floorplan modifications.
  • Secondary Trainer: Support training sessions as a secondary trainer.
  • Vendor Lead: Lead on-site vendor teams during installations and refreshes, ensuring successful deployment and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
  • Support experience, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in WiFi connectivity, including:
    • Understanding WiFi standards and protocols (e.g., IEEE 802.11).
    • Network diagnostics and tools like WiFi analyzers.
    • Configuring routers and access points.
    • Resolving common WiFi issues such as interference and bandwidth problems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site support.
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience with GE Healthcare products, especially Encompass.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve Wi-Fi issues, including signal assessment and network adjustments.

Additional Details

Pay range for U.S. positions: $89,600 - $134,400 annually. Compensation depends on skills, experience, and location. Performance incentives may include bonuses and long-term incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k), insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
