About the Lead Service Technician Role:

The Lead Service Technician ensures the community's physical aspects meet safety, appearance, and operational standards within budget. Responsibilities include inspecting grounds and facilities daily, overseeing maintenance, unit make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction projects. Maintains an organized, safe maintenance shop and supervises, trains, and schedules maintenance staff, checking daily work progress, providing guidance, and responding to emergencies. Adheres to federal, state, and local laws including Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• 3+ years in multi-family or commercial maintenance
• EPA Sec 608 Certification (Type I & II or Universal)
• Experience with plumbing, tile work, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical repairs, and apartment make-ready
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and English proficiency
• Ability to stand, sit, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
• Willingness to be on-call
• Physical ability to lift objects over 50 pounds
• Collaborative team player
