Summary:

The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, and freezers.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Providing status updates on parts and repairs to support and customers.
• Completing service calls accurately and promptly.
• Auditing truck stock to ensure necessary parts are available.
• Maintaining service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to safety standards.
• Meeting on-call requirements.

Required Education & Experience:

• At least three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and refrigeration.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Satisfactory background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; automotive, electrical, installation, or mechanical background a plus.
• Journeyman License or CFESA certification is a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good driving record.
